研究概要
My research has focused on online language learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. This has illustrated that post-pandemic, the integration of online learning as well as AI is necessary in the 21st century.

EGAP: I am instructing students in the essential skills required for English for General Academic Purposes (EGAP).
Academic writing: I am educating students on the essential structure of academic essays and genre writing.
Extensive reading: I am proactively encouraging students to read a specific number of words each week through the use of the online reading system Xreading, fostering a habit of reading in English as a Foreign Language (EFL)
Language learning with AI: In my Integrated A (Reading and Writing) classes, I am incorporating AI to enhance critical skill development and awareness. Additionally, I am conducting research on the impact of AI, as well as exploring Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) programs.
今後の展望
Starting in 2023, our international collaboration at EPUU with Wollongong University focuses on the “Ethical consideration of A.I. Tools in language learning and teaching.,” This research will be presented at an international conference in 2024 and will also be published in a special issue of an international open-access journal. In addition, a new Advanced English course called Global Collaboration will be introduced from 2024, and students will develop practical collaborative projects with overseas university students. Through this class, I plan to conduct research on how self-regulated motivation changes using COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning), with the aim of enhancing students’ skills in cross-cultural communication and international cooperation.

I am open to receiving lecture requests and offer workshops on (COIL) and AI-integrated language learning classes for individuals interested in expanding their networking skills.
